hmm, need more info before i'd give a real opinion on it. honestly price sounds a little high unless there isnt any rust and the transmission and engine are in pretty good condition.

How do the colors/smells/textures look on the:

coolant
oil
transmission fluid

is there rust on the floorboards (probably, but how bad is the question...)?

the motor has 210,000 on it and when he cranked it, it took a second ot two to turn over but when it did it sounded great. ni sputtering or hesitation and no smoking. fluids i havent chewcked but those are items i can change myself (used to be an auto lube tech). body is ok the clear coat is peeling and there is a small dent in the doors, and the rear hatch next to the top left hinge is cracked. but i didnt see any rust anywhere, i believe the struck has lived in oregon or at least the northwest all its life. he said its going to need an alignment and its leaking a little oil from somewhere but he has a pan and rear main gasket set as well. and new rear shocks. i also told him id give him 1000 not 1150

eh, make him go lower. i mean 1000 isnt that bad but if it needs a lot of stuff done to it, then ask for lower.

yeah go for the 90. less likely that it has bigger problems, as the lifted 95 could have had some issues if its been offroaded too hard, plus youd have to fix that wobble.

whats wrong with a 5 speed? mine's awesome.

If you could buy both that would be sweet. $800 each for the two and use what you could from the 95 to help build the 90 and then finish parting out the 95. Just an idea, i have a 94 5spd and i love it. It is all in what you are comfy with and you are right it is a pain on the trail sometimes. BTW welcome to the forum from Ky.
