New Jeep Owner, Central CA
Hi all,
I posted about a week ago with some technical questions, but I figured I would come in here for the proper introduction.
Just bought my first XJ after searching for quite a while. It's a 2000 Limited that has been VERY well maintained. I'm the third owner, and the second owner only had it for about a year. He was a snowboarder, hence the racks. The pic is from the night I drove it home.
It has a 4.5" Rusty's lift, adjustable track bar and lower control arms, sitting on 32" mud terrains. It'll be my DD, camping vehicle, snow vehicle, etc. Can't wait to make use of all the knowledge here!

Nice looking XJ, and welcome to the forum. Im also a new jeep owner.
I would get a black grill for your ride, but to each his own.
Do you have any drive line issues with tht lift?

On the head issues with the 0331, it's not exhibiting any symptoms as of now. The oil pressure never drops below 20, no "chocolate milk" filler cap, etc. The only thing I still have to check that will be the deciding factor is whether it loses coolant. If it does, I'll pull the valve cover and check visually.
More importantly, I'm DEFINITELY keeping the chrome grill That's one of the telltale signs that it's a Limited (unless you're a rare Freedom Edition owner).

Didn't see the last part of that post, sorry. No, don't have any DL issues. There's a 1" T-case drop though, which might be helping to avoid vibrations. I was actually surprised that without a SYE there weren't any issues. It has the NP-242, which I heard made the vibration possibilities higher.
