New Jeep owner from Canada
This forum looks to be geared toward U.S. Jeep owners but I signed up anyway...after all, it's the Cherokee forum...not the American Cherokee forum. ;D
I'm from Vancouver, BC and I've finally got myself a jeep after so many years (I'm a terrible procrastinator). I've always wanted to have something like a *****'s or a Wrangler but I'm now the proud owner of a Cherokee Limited.
I just got it, so there haven't been any mods...yet. I did have to replace the upper control arm and front bushing, replaced all the fluids and filters, fixed a faulty window switch, redid the timing, replaced the exhaust front to back, got the rotors turned, and a number of other minor fixes. She runs beautifully now.
I bought a set of 16" mudders when I bought the Cherokee for a sweet deal but they'll have to wait till I set this thing up to go bogging. The stock tires and rims give a better ride in the city anyway.
I imagine I'll be posting from time to time when I make any changes or I run into a problem (or I can help with someone else's problem). I've worked on many a jeep but never had the pleasure of owning one so I can help out here and there.
