Default I bought it!

Here she is, my new DD/project! I took my family to Pensacola Wednesday to check this thing out and rode home in my new 1992 Cherokee. It has 163K miles on the 4.0 and runs strong with no leaks or serious issues. One thing I really wanted was a manual transmission, which this one has. It has a lift of about 3.5-4" and rides on 31" tires. The interior is not ragged out, and although the paint is shot, the body is straight and solid. It's pretty much exactly what I wanted.....and I got it for $900! When I sell my car for about $3000 I'll have the Jeep painted, get some new wheels, a limited slip for the rear, and then take my wife shopping with the leftover!

It's a 2wd, but in my searching I was completely open to that if I found the right one, and this was it. The fact is on my last three 4wd vehicles, the only time I locked them in was to play around in this sandy slushy mud we have here on the coast, and I got that out of my system pretty quickly. I wanted an SUV that I could load up and take down service roads and ease through hunting leases. There's obviously no snow here in FL, and I live on the coast which is totally and completely flat, so I don't absolutely have to have 4wd. Adding a LSD should take care of any issues I might encounter.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy to have it.

I put my Honda on Craigslist last night around midnight, woke up at 8am with 6 emails waiting on me, had the car sold by noon for exactly what I needed to get out of it. Wow, I'm so thankful.....now it's time to spend some money on the Jeep!
