Hi all, I'm Michael and live in the FL Panhandle, right on the Gulf Coast. I'm married with 3 children, which is why I'm proud that I need 4Doors! I recently found this site and really like it. I've had 2 Jeeps in my past, a '93 YJ and then my beloved '91 XJ. I loved my Cherokee but in the fall of '07 I was on the road a ton, working and finishing college, so I had to sell and get a Honda. Life is more settled now and I'm itching to get another XJ!

Below you can see what I did to my last one, which was a '91 4x4, 4.0, AW4. I went from stock to...

Stock on 30x9.5 AT tires (scrubbed tires at full lock)
Quickly added the 2" BB (spacers/shackles)
Then went to 3.5" (V8 ZJ coils+2" spacer - added top 2 leaves from stock XJ pack)

With new shocks the thing rode better than stock and of course I could load it without fear of putting the rear flares on my tires. I absolutely loved it and will probably look to do something similar with my next one.

OK, finally getting my pictures to load! Here's the progression of my previous XJ...

1 - Bare bones basic, 4x4, 4.0, AW4
2 - 30x9.5 AT tires
3 - 2" BB (spacers/shackles)
4 - 3.5" (V8 ZJ coils+spacer / top 2 leaves from stock XJ pack+1.5" shackles....rode great!)

Well thank you very much. Yea I am very proud of that boy. He has been workin hard on his rig and for Search and Rescue. We do love playing in that red clay.
