New guy from Tucson, AZ
Hey everyone,
I live in Tucson AZ and just got me a 98 xj with the 4.0 and auto tranny. Bone stock except for the high-tech-busted-cat. converter that makes noise any time the motor is turning, haha!
This is my first jeep, and my first SUV of any sort, I have my little race car/DD (a fairly souped up, NOT RICED, saturn SC2, it eats mustangs for breakfast...) and the wife's chevy cavalier, so I'm REALLY new to jeeps and SUV's, haha.
My dad has always been a jeep fan/owner so he is an endless source of info for me, and also taught me how to 4 wheel, so I won't wreck my first jeep right away.
Like I said, I live in Tucson AZ.
I enjoy all my vehicles, love my wife, like to shoot all my guns (too many to count...) and play guitar and sing avidly (as in, lead a band...). So my hobbies are numerous.
I am an IT Technician at the local Community College (Pima CC, the third largest community college in the world).
So yup, just joining to get in the community some, and also to get help from and with time give help to other jeep owners. (BTW, I'm no noob to working on cars, so that oughta be a relief to all who will offer a hand... hopefully... I can do almost anything to a vehicle provided I have clear instructions)
If you wanna check out my other forum (it's not a plug, I swear), its on www.differentracing.com, we all cherish our POS saturns over there (most of them drive other vehicles, some jeeps) and love to race them even more, they may be turds, but you'd be surprised what some people have done to them...
