So I'm new to forums, this is my first xj I got it at 100,xxx original EVERYTHING. Old man that had it before me never drove it and was garage kept. I've done simple maintenance as needed, few extras, headlights, wheels, rack, nothing crazy. I recently got ahold of a 4.0 out of a wrecked 94' with 150,xxx, and I have plans for it. It will for sure be a stroker, but I'm interested in the 5.0 stroker. Opinions, insight? Anything would be great.

You might want to check the price tag on a 5.0 stroker. It cost a whole lot more than doing 4.6 stroker.

 

Yeah 505's price tag is about 2900 just for the kit. I haven't looked up the 4.6 price though. What other names should I stick around? Most forums I've looked at all say 505 performance is the way to go.
