New guy from NC
Hello to you all. My name is Michael and I recently purchased a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Got it with 150,000 miles, 5 speed, 4 inch Lift and 31' BF all terrains. This is my 2nd jeep but only the first I get to Drive. I inherited my fathers MJ at 15 and planned to go from 2.5L to 4.0L 4x4 but a crappy step father never helped so could not finish it. But that's a whole new story there. Anyways hope to wheel with some of you guys soon. I plan to hit the uwarrie* trails in Troy NC soon.

Where are you located in N.C. I have many relatives in Eastern N.C. from Raleigh to the coast. Which tranny is that in your XJ? I may be getting an MJ that needs a stick to replace the BA10.

Im from Charlotte But im Stationed at Ft Bragg. Its the AX15 I think. I know its a 98 sport 5spd. Bear with me im still learning all the engine and tranny codes here. Im a Nissan guy by heart.
