I was shopping for a XJ in MD and I found a stock 1995 Red 2Dr XJ on Craiglist for $1800. In the last 4 years I have paid for the following:

Radiator
Thermostat and Housing
Rear Brakes
Tune up
Tires and Rims
Belts
Crank Sensor
Exhaust System
Tint

I'm not mechanically inclined, and this forum has helped determine or narrow down problems with my Jeep. I wanted to say thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge because it is very helpful.

I came within 24hrs of selling my JEEP, but I couldn't do it. I bought a fully loaded RAV4 in November, which is great. Except it is NOT rugged. Sounds crazy, but I enjoy the manual windows, manual locks, and the simplicity of my JEEP.

I'm planning to tackle a rocker repair and new headliner in the few weeks. Wish me luck

P.S. Just discovered a coolant link, after parking. I was going to replace all of my hoses, before I clean my engine. I'm suspecting the water pump. Any suggestion on how not to clean the engine? I read problems on getting a sensor set (?), but I don't where to look, avoid, or maybe cover?????
