<---New guy looking for XJ
Hey guys Rob here. Located in South East, PA just over DE border. Worked for Quadratec back in the day and used to have an 01 TJ Sport that almost brings me to tears just talking about with 4.5" RE, 35" MTR's and other misc goodies (Included a picture). Bought a house so that had to go. Now getting back to where I was and functionality wise it looks like the Wrangler wont cut it. Love the look of the XJ and starting from scratch here.
Looking for some advice as far as what to look for in a stock XJ. What would you guys of done differently? Looked for? What signs should I stay away from?
Probably looking to go between 3-5inches. Would like to fit 33"s. Suggestions?

Engine: 4.0, comp cam, 99 intake, apn header, neon injectors, Thunderbolt 2.5" High Flow Cat
97 introduced cup holders and the 29 spline 8.25 as opposed to the 27 spline 8.25. 00-01 switched to low pinion front axles and aluminum heads that are prone to cracking. I'd stick with 97-99.

Thanks good to know. Being that these are usually in the 90-140k mile range, anything that I should make sure has been replaced/serviced or look out for other than that?
