Default New guy here.

Hello all, new guy here just bought a 2000 Cherokee XJ Classic 4X4. Kind of new to the Jeep and off road world. I currently own a 02 C5 Z06 and bought the XJ for a DD and to play with lol. I plan on doing a 3in lift and 31's with the Black steel d window wheels. I was looking at the rough country 3in lift. Is it a decent lift? Now some pics.

I have the 3" RC lift on mine and it hasn't left me hanging. My suspension was completely shot and now everything is firm and rides well. No squeeks or clunking. Lets put a lift on that 'Vette! J/K

I had RC, are they the best? No, but they're definitely not complete crap. Everyone rags on them so all the new people tend to jump on the bandwagon. I ran the Rough Country 3" aal kit for just under a year, in that time I blew both rear shocks, and sagged about 1/2" all around, Really my only complaint is the spring rate is way to soft, I had more body roll with my sway bars on than I do now with them being discoed, That being said I would recommend rubicon express, I got there 3.5" springs and got 4.25" in the front and 5" in the back.

Only complaint i would have about rough country is that their shocks knock pretty loud but thats about it, otherwise solid lift

Ill put it this way. I didn't think Rough Country sucked, until I redid my lift with RE, Bilsteins and long arms. Still have the RC shocks in the back, just waiting on the cash to get bilsteins
