I am thinking about getting a jeep a xj not sure what year pro 1980-2000. I am 16 and this would be my 2ed car I am selling my first to get a jeep I have heard that jeep cherokees give people problems.technical problems.I am looking to have a daily driver but with a lift kit were I can do some 4 Wheeling.

 

welcome to the site. It's like anything else it depends on how well the previous owner took care of it.

They need regular maintainance and repairs like any other vehicle, but they are also fairly easy to work on too.

I've owned quite a few Cherokee's and Grand's, looking to add a Wrangler to the stable at some point.
