New guy first car of my own
Alright, so my name is Ross, 16 years old, just bought my 1994 Jeep Cherokee today and I live in Pensacola, Florida if you are near me hit me up I need some people to mud with. It is lifted 5 inches with 34 inch super swampers, manual transmission (ax-15) stalled it plenty of times but getting the hang of it now. 230K miles on it rebuilt 100k ago, new clutch. Putting in new headliner, new carpet, new headunit with 12' subs. If you got any pointers for me let me know like anything I should change out?

Hey Ross. Nice looking rig. I wish I could have gotten a Jeep, especially like that, at your age. Kudos on conquering the manual transmission, those AX-15s are a blast, a few of my buddies have em in their XJs.
If I was out in your area I'd say we could go wheeling, but sadly I am 30 miles from nowhere.
Have fun and enjoy your rig!

Thanks man yeah when I saw it I could not resist it so jumped on it for $1800...when I was at his house I tried to drive it and stalled out twice in his drive way and he said "well it was a new clutch haha" so I was like hell naw and let my friend drive it.

Nice. That is an awesome price. I got mine for $1000 but it's pretty much stock. Oh well, a couple of grand and a few days of me tinkering around in the shop will fix that.
I learned stick on an '80 something Toyota MR2. My first drive I took a left turn at 40 miles per hour and power sled across the intersection. I had fun, my aunt nearly killed me though. Not to mention I stalled at every stop sign. It's a fun process to learn, you'll find the sweet spot in your Jeep's clutch. I'm envious of your ability to add or detract from the power off road. My 4 speed will just soldier on whether my truck should be going faster or not .

Yeah I found the sweet spot in the clutch don't stall or rock it around anymore got it down good. Went to Jones Swamp was going through mud good and then hit a whole that I thought was small but ended up sinking my whole front left tire. My heart sank took 5 hours to get it out and tire was flat but filled it up with air and it doing fine now. I was definantly scared tho...
