Default New Guy From Dallas, TX

Hi everyone, bought my first Jeep. Figured this would be a good forum to join up on so hopefully I can learn and contribute as I go. I've always loved XJ's, when I came across this one I just couldn't pass it up. Before now any off-roading I've done has been in my 4x4 trucks or my ATV.

Anyways, here it is. 1997 Cherokee 4x4 with a skyjacker lift (still not positive what size, it looks like maybe 2" but I'm not sure skyjacker made a lift that size) and 31" BFG A/Ts. It has 76k original miles on it, and the interior is immaculate. The exterior is in pretty good condition as well, although I've added a few light scratches to it already (eh it'll buff out).

I took it to my friend's property out in Jacksboro (hill country west of Bridgeport) yesterday as well as the day before and had a blast climbing/crawling some of the hills out there. Got a little sketchy a few times, and I will definitely be purchasing quick connects soon.

Sorry for the long intro, just excited to be here!

Welcome, Jeep looks really good. Super low miles for a 97, the PO put roughly 5000 miles a year on it, not bad. What did you pay for it down there?

$3000. It was a steal for the mileage and condition. Most of them go for $4500 with 120-140k miles on them in worse condition than this one. I found another one down here for $3000 which had a little more done to it but it had 190k miles on it.

Thanks. It doesn't need much but there are a few things to get it back to 100%, I'll be looking on your site for the parts I need. Thanks again!
