hey guys, im sam from connecticut. i have been snooping around here awhile but had no jeep so i didnt say much, just read.

so 2 weeks ago my friend got a 97 XJ for $900, after riding around in it for about 10 minutes i decided i needed one. went on craigslist and found a 96 5 speed 4 liter 100 miles away for 500 bucks. the girl said it stopped running the other day and was sitting in a parking lot, she was pretty sure it just needed a tune up but she wanted it gone. so the next day i drove down to jersey and after some talking, picked up this little gem for 300 cash... there is no rust under the thing, nothing. its in excellent shape and has 140k on it. the only problem... it was outta gas haha.



got it home, picked up some d-holes and tsl 31's for 100 bucks the next day, and my project is underway. just gonna do a 3" lift with some 33's, and hammer down.
