Hi. I'm John and I live in Austin, Texas. For the next year or so I will be communicating from Basrah...one more trip to Iraq. So my only Jeep at the moment is an '01 2wd(!) XJ. 4.0L/Auto. I've had others; I've been lifted and locked and I've torn up expensive stuff that wasn't even paid for yet... So though I'm not wheeling at the moment, I still want to keep in touch and keep talkin' Jeep! Looking forward to it.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks! Olympia? It just so happens that I am at Ft. Lewis at the moment, where my Army unit is preparing for deployment. It's nice here...big change from Austin and humidity. I haven't been able to go look around at all, but I do see lots of Jeeps that appear to get used..
I'll see a little more of this place today as I am going to the airport for a quick trip back to TX.
I was wondering..are there alot of public access trails where people can go off-roading in WA? In TX there is not. Usually we pay to access private land that ranchers have turned into off-road area of sorts. Good trails, just no destination at the the other end.
