hey folks, new guy from canuckistan ...second Jeep but first XJ ... already got alot of info off here so decided to join the familia
Just picked up a 97 XJ Sport 4dr 4L auto with 170,ooo miles , it was in good shape but needed a lil TLC, good buy for $1000
After a good interior cleaning and a bath it was well worth the money and then some. Ill put some pix up soon.

I have a few plans for er. I swapped out the bent factory bumper for a winch bumper which I'll be addin fog lights to.
On the list is
Lift/boost
31" tires
Rear bumper
Body/paint in spring
A few engine upgrades
Carpets/headliner
If like to leave the interior stock looking. I have the grey/black interior which is in great shape asides from carpet. This jeep will get lovin my CJ7 never got.

Thanks Crazy 8's i got pretty lucky finding this one. Rust is bad here in the Great Lakes. This one has a small amount of rust and rockers wernt bad. Has mechanical records from the last 5-6 years to and its bone stock. Interior was in good shape also asides from salt buildup on the floors lol
Slowly i will mod it but for now my wallet is a lil slim. Body and paint in spring time on the cheap, acrylic enamel the orig moss green pearl on and bedliner the bottoms. I removed the stock door trim already cuz i was missing a piece, i like it better without anyways.
Next on the list is front springs and shocks and rear leaf pack then some 31s
