New Georgia Jeeper!
I'm Chris, So far this is the first jeep that I've owned and so far I've loved every second of it. I had wanted a Cherokee for at least three years before I happened to actually get one. Before this I had had an 87 Silverado 4x4 but it was just too large for the trails in my area and drank too much gas so now its up for sale! I had wanted something reliable that I could daily and sometime serve a little trail duty and so far its lived up to everything I had hoped.
I ended up find an 88 Cherokee Pioneer on craigslist for 600$, of course for the price it needed a little work. The grill and headlight surrounds where either smashed or missing and it had small car tires on the front larger ones in the rear and two different types of steel wheels on it. So after trading around with the local junkyard I managed to trade a set of Chevy steelies for a set of factory Jeep wheels and haggled a bit for the grill and surrounds and ended on spending next to nothing. So the wheels along with a used set of 31 10.50 15's and I had her sitting up and bit higher and looking a whole lot better.
So after that the bug had bitten me and I of course added a roof rack that I re-engineered out of a Reese folding roof rack from wal-mart. I used one of my factory load bars and made a light bar and added four cheap off road lights and up graded to 100w bulbs, I also added a home made antennae mount and a 102 inch steel whip along with a Maxon cb so that I can chat back and forth on the trail. So far that's pretty much where she sits. I also plan on adding a winch, a home made bumper and a two inch lift in the next month or two. After that Ill probably be good to go for a little while at least.
pics too come...

Finally got a pic that works!
How she currently sits...
sitting on even ground, the rear sags a little but not as much as the pic makes it look

I've actually decided to go with a 3 inch lift instead of the two. Im gonna make my own front coil spacers mad xj style and go with a bastard pack for the rear. For my front shocks Im gonna use shock extensions on the front till i can get better ones to replace them and gonna make rear sway bar bracket bpes for the rear and drop the rear stock shock mounting points down a bit. If I need to possibly drop the trandfer case down a bit.
