Default New to the forums and the Jeep world

whats up guys im new from Ft myers, FL i come from a german car background mostly vws...im looking to get a jeep here within the next month or so. ive been looking at 2 94 xjs and a 98 xj. just wondering if there is any difference in the trim, tranny, motor (they're all 4.0L) and if someone can point me in the direction of a link for common problems and if theres any other useful info for when is a must for a jeep. id appreciate the help guys

Welcome, for one thing, the 94's will have a fiberglass hatch, the 98 has a sheet metal hatch. And of course the 96- and 97+ Cherokees have different looks. Quick list of a few things they added/changed since 94-
Stronger U-joints for the axle shaft, driver side airbag, slip yoke extension removed, winshield washer fluid moved to the inside of the fender, and a passenger-side airbag.
Personally, I'd say the 98, but their all good.

The guys here are great most all will help u if they know the answer and the only dumb ? Is the one that is not asked

k with that being said, is there any "stance" threads? (showing a picture of your jeep, what suspension, how much lift,rims, tires and stuff)
