Default New from Connecticut

Hi! I bought my first car yesterday, a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Country. I'm still working on getting my license (I'm 19 ). Anyway, back to the truck. It needs a muffler and a trailer hitch, which I'll get next week. It could also use a new radio (any suggestions?) I will take a few pictures later

Welcome to the site. I was raised in Manchester, CT until I left for the Army. I use a Sony Xplod radio. It may not be the best but it has auxiliary and iPhone connections. Go to Best Buy and figure out what works for you.

Personally when I buy a used vehicle, especially one with high miles, I like to change all the fluids and filters. So the engine, transmission, and coolant are high priorities. Also would change the brakes. That'll give you a chance to bleed out old brake fluid and to put anti seize on the lugs. Of course you can do a regular ignition tune up too. These Jeeps like basic spark plugs, no need for expensive ones.

I'm sure that I'm forgetting something. But by doing that stuff, you'll have a clean slate of maintenance.
