So I just bought my first jeep, and it's definitely a fixer upper. It's a stock 94 cherokee country with the 4.0l. It's runs fine, no overeating or drops in pressure. Also shifts fine and 4x4 works From what I've seen I've got a bad valve cover gasket, really bad tires, ****ty smoke smelling interior with rotted out floor pans, and it's got the death wobble and from what I've heard that's usually
the track bar. Basically what I need I know is what problems to tackle first and common problems that I might have. I don't have a ton of money to put into it and I don't have my own shop to work in so some stuff I won't be able to do on my own. Things in the engine bay like spark plugs and valve cover gaskets I can handle. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks!

From a safety standpoint, maybe the death wobble issue first. Until you find out what part is causing it, you won't really know how dangerous it might be to drive.

Death wobble first for sure! Interior should be easy enough/cheap to clean out/get rid of smell. Welcome to CherokeeForum!

Welcome to the party!
Definitely check out your wobble first. Have somebody get in and crank the wheel back and forth while you look at the track bar for any play in the mounts.
After its safe to drive it's only a matter of time before you catch that jeep thing everyone talks about.

Thanks for the advice on track bar and the welcome! A far as the interior goes, headliner looks simple enough. Anyone have any advice on the rusted out floor pans? I was curious about patching the floor and doing chassis saver + monstaliner... Any thoughts?
