New Cherokee Owner From Texas!
I just bought my first car a few days ago. 1995 Cherokee sport, everything original and in good shape. 111,000 original miles.
A few problems though:
It needs a new wheel bearing and is leaking from the rear differential. I plan to replace the bearing and put in a new gasket or sealant later this week.
It also does get a bit hot when idle. It could just be the triple digit heat here in Dallas, or it could need some new parts. When it runs its ok, but in traffic or at a stoplight it gets hot. Should i already plan on getting a new radiator? And as far as mods go a I plan on ordering a some hood vents and maybe putting a lift on it sometime next month.

Hey, looks really sweet! Congrats!
Running hot? Start at "simple." Check coolant level, hoses, clamps, etc, proper t-stat functioning, clutch fan and check to make sure your electric cooling fan is kicking on..it should also be running when AC is on as well.
I prefer 2" inch lift kits..but hey that's just me.

Also check your belt too. My xj was running hot while idling too. I knew all my cooling components were up to date, except for the belt so I replaced that, and sure enough it came back to normal
