Default New Cherokee owner. I need ideas

Hello. 1st of I think I posted a very similar thread in a wrong category and i don't know how to delete it so here I am. Okay so I'm just turning 16 and about to get my dads 1999 jeep cherokee. Right now it is completely stock, and has 125,000 miles on it. The first thing I would like to do is get a 3" lift. (or possibly even a 4.5") if I got a 3" how big of tires could I fit on without too much rubbing. Also I was wondering after I lift it what I should do to the jeep next. Thanks.

3" lift you can run 31's, don't get sucked into building it up, you are young and your friends will try to talk you into beating on it. Mine did, and man do I regret it.

4.5" you can run 33's with some fender trimming.

hey man! welcome! Really depends on how or if you want to wheel it. I run a 4.5" lift with 35s and major cutting. If I were you, I would go with the 4.5" lift over the 3". Its not much more expensive, and odds are that you would want the bigger lift after you purchased the 3" kit. just my advice
