new to CF, not new to Jeeps
Hey everyone, just joined this site. I'm a regular on VWVortex.com, and I love being able to use message boards as a source of information when it comes to maintaining and performing DIY work on my cars, so I picked Cherokee Forums for when it comes to my XJ.
I'm from Long Island, NY. Had a ZJ when I first started driving. Sold it and bought a 2002 VW GTI 337. Missed the Jeep ever since. Traded the 337 for a mk3, and picked up my fathers old XJ as a daily driver a little over a year ago. Have to love the reliability on the 4.0.
Not into modding or lifting the Jeep. Just like keeping it as a reliable DD thats fun as hell in all the snow we've been having. The 4.0 has needed minimal work thus far (NSS, thermostat housing gasket, heater blower resistor) and it probably my favorite engine ever made due to its simplicity and durability.
Here she is!
Just kidding
Not the prettiest, but one hell of an automobile.
And the fun car last year at H20i. Currently in pieces in the garage getting some maintenance, cams, exhaust, and a custom gear set and LSD. Should be fun.
And if anyone is interested, the build thread for it http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...slammed-emkay3
