Default New boots

Just got an account on here. So I have a 1999 cherokee sport. I have always been attracted to the mud and would love to get my jeep dirty but I don't really know what I'm doing for the most part. I haven't done any modifications to my jeep because I had to replace the radiator and heater core (this one was a horrible pain in the neck) anyway so I'm wondering where to start?

Here's some advice. Take a few days a browse through the many threads here. There's literally a thread for everything. Read the write ups. As long as you're open to criticism and are open too learning, you'll fit in just fine

Yeah I have been doing a lot of reading. I don't know anything about mechanics at all and just by reading online, my Haynes manual, and YouTube I was able to do a lot on my own. I've read plenty of threads in this forum and finally decided it was time I just register.

Welcome! Research will be your best friend. Ive been over many differemt forums and this one IMO has been the best. The XJ is a great platform for an offroader. Just dont be afraid of it, it takes gas, spark, and air to run. Parts are readily available and affordable.
