Finally, after many years!
Bought a 96 Cherokee a week and a half ago.
4 door, green Country, ...with only 90,000 kms (55K miles)
Was owned by an older couple since new, towed to Arizona behind the motorhome.
We are ecstatic!
Just came home from a 3000 km loop through central BC, and averaged 23.5 mph !
Before we left I put in synthetic oil, and a K&N air filter. And I drive it pretty easy. But loaded with all gear, just about 24 mpg.
Looking at the electric fan modification, and maybe the rad core. Going to be taking the Cherokee to Baja in January so thinking might need to make sure the cooling is good. (I've been reading here for a while)
Also, looking at shocks and maybe springs, but not going to lift it...well maybe 2", maybe...
any strong recommendations?
Looks like a good forum. See ya on here.
