New from az

Hey everyone I'm new here from Arizona. Looking to buy a xj, what are some things to look for? I saw an 88 with lots of new stuff put on and he's willing to put more on. Should I pull the trigger? https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/bar/d/88-cherokee-xj-4x4-lifted/6311638306.html still needs alignment, power steering pump, e brake cable and a bunch of small stuff. Opinions please
