New Arizona RHD
Hello! Another new guy to the forum. I'm from Southern Arizona, and just received a '99 RHD Cherokee 4x4. I'm not new to Jeeps. I've owned an '87 XJ, an '05 Liberty and a 2008 Compass. Never had a right hand drive, though. Should be interesting.
Hopefully, I'll be able to hit the trails soon in it. It drives fine, but, it needs an oil change and inspection done. With 210,630 miles on it, I want to be sure it's roadworthy before getting too cocky.
Looking forward to some great advice here. Keep your wheels on the trail!

Thanks, guys!
As far as future plans, I'm not sure. Maybe a small lift and bigger tires. Definitely want to get the engine and drivetrain freshened up a bit. Add new exhaust, maybe upgrade the stereo, etc. I live in the Green Valley area, so, I'll have to see what type of trails are down this way.
As to pics, I'll have to take a few on the cell phone, and post them up here today. I'll make sure to get a front seat picture for ya, XJwonders. It pretty much looks just like a LHD, just in reverse.

Just moved to Arizona last month, after 41 years in Washington, living in a s***-hole named Port Angeles. I'm lovin' it here!
XJwonders, here's your RHD pics you wanted. Just took a couple of the front seating area:

It is a little odd sitting in the "passenger" seat with all the controls. Haven't really had the chance to drive it much, other than a couple short trips. Love to see the odd looks people give me while I'm driving.
It is a pretty clean unit. Another mailman had it, then sold it to my wife for her job last year. Like I said, it does need some TLC done to it. It's got a small leak underneath somewhere, I'm guessing tranny. Plus, a small "clunk" that comes from the right front wheel when it turns. I'll be taking it to a shop next week for an inspection and stuff.

Thanks, XJ! Wasn't sure if it might have been the bearings or ball joints, etc. Can't do mechanic work (heart issues), so, I'll have a pro look at it.
