hey guys, just started out in the jeep thing. I got an 89 Cherokee limited 4dr 4x4. I love this thing. Ive always been a big honda person, and i love my jeep as much as my hondas. I started out in the 4x4 game with an 86 isuzu trooper. Not the best in the world but did good on the trails and in the mud. I wanted something better and with more powerful so i got the jeep. anyways, not much done to it yet but im saving up for wheels/tires, and an RC 3in lift.
here are a few pics of my jeep.

im guessing it got lost at one point. It was silver when i got it. ive only had it a couple weeks now. But i did find some rims today at the junkyard. got em for 40 bux. They were on some older dodge dakota. They remind me of the older buggy wheels. they are slotted. When i get em cleaned up, painted, and tires mounted ill post pics

Your original rims look a lot better silver, than the gold. And they can be buffed out to a nice shine, and shot with clear. That's what I plan on doing to mine. I have the same ones, But the inside of the lattice is painted Grey. And the the flat top surface is machined. (Pics. in my album) The Gold ones, I would of sand blasted, paint them gloss black. Then buff the top surface to a shine, with a coat of clear......JMO!
