Lurkin for too long
I have been lurking these forums for years waiting to purchase a Cherokee. I bought my Cherokee 2 years ago and guess what, I kept lurking. I figured it was about time that I stopped that, introduced myself and thank you guys for the awesome write ups, how to's, and reviews that helped me to turn around this heep into an awesome dd and trail rig.
Before I introduce the jeep figured I'd give a lil info, I am a nursing student in Virginia Beach and I work at Autozone part time. Between school and work there isn't much time for Jeeping but every chance i get I try to work on her and attend jeep club Meets with Hampton Roads Jeep Club. I learned to wrench at my father's shop as a child through my early twenties and then decided I enjoyed modding cars way too much to be doing it as a career. And that leads me to my jeep.
She is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4dr. She has a 4.0 I6 and an AX-15 5spd, Spice interior, a boomin stereo, a radio shack cb and a few other interior mods. My lift is a mismatched 3" lift coils from no brands land that I aquired a long time ago(they were/are rusty and I have no clue who makes em), 3.5" leafs, and mismatched 285/75/16 all terrains.( Yes I cut the badgeezes out of the front fenders and used a hammer for clearencing) Here are a few picks from our last beach trip to Carolla NC.(eahI got stuck in soft sand, the nice thing about jeepers is they are all to eager to give you a tow, especially when they have lockers on sand)
