Just got my first jeep
I just got my first jeep about 2 weeks ago.
Its a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 AW4, 116k. It has a 3in rustys lift, 31in tires. Was painted a few months ago. New front wheel bearings, new radiator. The interior has no carpet which i'm fine with because i'm going to rhinoline the floor anyway. The interior seats are a little rough which is fine too, I'll just get some good seat covers and call it a day.
Needed: Windshield (i'm going to replace after winter), front drive shaft (got from junkyard for 75 bucks), a front windshield washer fluid pump (i got for 20 bucks from advance auto), plus plugs and wires (misfire)
So far I've done:
Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil. I seafoamed the motor (inside and out), and did a compression test (I'm having a misfire on cyl 2). Cleaned out air filter, Changed the oil (5 qts 10w30 and 1 qt lucas oil sabilizer). I had the exhaust fixed up, it had been hacked apart and had a junk muffler put on it. And more listed above.
I bought a rancho steering stabilizer, and adjustable track bar (still being made). I also purchased a new water pump, water outlet, belt, timing chain kit, thermostat, and some other minor stuff i'm sure i'm forgetting.
Here are pics from the other day.

Yeah I have wanted a white vehicle forever! I finally got one. The body is clean, the interior is junk. I am working on fixing that along with all of the other stuff that is wrong with it. Hopefully I'll fall in love with it once all of the bugs are worked out. I know, all in time.
