Default Just bought this gem

Hey everyone! I just picked up this beauty yesterday for 6k. 2001 Cherokee Limited 4X4 4.0L AMC 6 cylinder 123k.

Im coming from owning an 03 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 5spd manual, I am gonna miss the speed and handeling of that car but I wont miss getting stuck in deep snow

It has 31” BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires with a lift, but I was hoping you guys could help me figure it out much it is actually lifted. There are pro comp shocks on all four wheels so I’m thinking its around a 4” lift.

The guy I bought it from took over the payments/car from his grandson who was defaulting on the loan. He included a Flowmaster muffler. He took it off and put the stock back on because it was “too loud". So obviously, I want to put it back on but had a couple questions:

It’s a “glass pack” muffler so I was hoping to hear what it sounded like before I put it back on. Youtube link anyone?

There is no marking on the muffler to say what model it is. Only patent numbers. It has one inlet and 2 outlet pipes.

I’m thinking about getting a light kit for the brush guard. Any suggestions?

Any other suggestions on quick and easy performance mods?

Looks like it's about 3.5 inches of lift...glass packs sound mean...YouTube won't do any muffler justice...take my word and put it on...if you WANt performance upgrades look into a cold air intake and a tb spacer

I don't have any experience with spacers, but I have never heard a good thing other than they make a good paper weight. I would look at a bored tb.

Picture of the muffler? If it has dual outlets, I seriously doubt it's a glasspack.. probably a 40 series, a really lot of people put those on Jeeps and they sound good. Good luck, looks like a clean XJ!

Spacers are paper weights. Avoid them .

Shiny ones, though. I don't think they're getting enough credit.
