Just bought a 00 Cherokee XJ
I recently bought a 00 Cherokee XJ limited. It's bone stock and the owner before me kept this Jeep super clean. The interior is almost flawless and the exterior is very clean. I will post up some pix of it tonight. I am planning on fixing any of the issues, which there isn't many of, then doing a 4.5" long arm lift. I haven't decided on which lift to go with yet if y'all have any suggestions let me know it would be much appreciated. Also this will be my daily driver that will mostly be on the road so I am looking for a good ride quality. Let me know what y'all think. Thanks!

Can't help with what brand to run for your lift, but it sounds like your startin your lift the right way. Go long arms right from the start. Post up picts and start up a build thread. I'll be interested in your build, I'm planning on long arms this summer.

I also had a question about fog lights. My XJ didn't come with fog lights from the factory, which seems strange to me since it is a Limited. I wanted to install factory fog lights in the bumper. Has anybody done this? Just curious what all is involved.

Thank you I am excited to finally own an XJ! I searched for months mostly finding worn out Cherokees or ones that were heavily modified and not in the direction I wanted to go. Finally my wife found this one in SC he wanted a little more than I was expecting to pay, but I'd rather pay a little more for a super clean XJ than buy a beater that would need a lot of attention.

damn that's nice.
for a lift, go quality, something like clayton or rubicon express. use bilstein shocks.
for a nice light wheel package if that counts, go BFG KM2 on alloys.
as for fogs, your wiring is all there, just cut the plastic square out that are under your bumpers already, get the fogs and brackets from a junkyard jeep, grab the dash panel too and swap it out with yours. throw a fuse in the fuse box and flip the switch. it's easy.

Quick update I tinted front windows and sun strip on windshield, upgraded all speakers to 6.5" alpines including tweeters, installed rugged ridge liners and cargo liner, and installed Rampage headlamp assemblies
