Figure I should say hi now that I've started posting. Joined when I got my first XJ, a 2001 Sport, but only flipped through threads and never posted. The 2001 has a little body and frame damage, 140k miles and wasn't in great mechanical condition so started looking at new Tacomas and 4 door Wranglers. After stopping at a Toyota dealer a couple weeks ago I passed a 2000 Sport in great condition that was advertised at 77k miles (turned out to be just under 76k) for $5000 and decided to get another XJ instead of having to deal with new car payments. Now Im putting together everything I wanted for my last XJ but never did and Im pretty excited.

Here are the two of them together, the 2001 has since been retired to life as our hunting rig and is getting a few upgrades of its own sometime this fall. Next weekend my new XJ gets all its mods.
