Cool It's a Jeep thing!

Hi! Just joined a few days ago. Bought a 1996 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 at the end of November. It is my 3rd Jeep.
Have a good friend who HATES the "It's a Jeep thing" saying. She thinks it is stupid. Asked her if she has ever owned one. She said no. I told... "my dear, it IS a Jeep thing... You wouldn't understand.."
Joined because I <3 Jeeps and because I will need to fix a few minor things and will be asking for advice.
For instance, the rear window washer mechanism is gone. Completely. So when I tried to use it the first time, it just shot fluid out at the car behind me. Hysterical, yes, but ineffective unless I make it into a flame thrower for when the zombie apocalype happens. :/
Back to the point... I need to figure out if that is something I can replace and just WHAT is Hades it is actually called!

So, here I am! And looking forward to meeting all of you!

~Angel

Welcome from Az. I dont see why you cant pick up replacemnet parts or the whole thing at a local pick a part. I recommind leaving it the way it is. I like the zombie theory.

My landlord's dad actually owns the largest pick-a-part in Denver so I may hit her up for it. Whcih also means I can call it "that back window wahing thingy" as opposed to using it's true and technical term.

Yeah... I'm gonna light those zombies up!

Your first post is so full of win. I'm going to pick it apart.
First off, you're female. The horndogs around here will be skirt chasing for the first 1,000 posts. Don't let that discourage you from posting. lol
Second, you understand the Jeep thing. A very rare find for a female to get it. Kudos to you!
Third, you mentioned the Zombie Apocalypse. That is so win you don't even know. Are you a firearms enthusiast too? *fingers crossed*
Finally, you're even willing to work on your own Jeep ... *faint* This is an amazing first post. Welcome to CF.

PS - This thread is worthless without pics. (of the Jeep I mean, perverts)

Oh, and that thingy mah jigger is called the rear window washer/squirter.
