Intro
Hi all, let me start by saying this site has already been a life and money saver. My father gave me his old work vehicle, the '04 limited, and while it helped me and the wife by having a second vehicle, the thing has been the ultimate gift horse/mouth exercise. He drove hundreds of miles a day in it for years, so the mileage is very high, but he is always meticulous about his Cherokees (he owns one from each model style going back to early '90s up to brand new 2014) so the problems aren't as many as there should be but are definitely there.
Already finding many of the problems I am having are very common on this site, so thanks for all the help and I hope to contribute with some projects of my own (all stock, we're not off-roaders, as upset as it makes me to admit).
Upcoming contributions will include brake line replacement (RD side line split at terminus with caliper), brake light fix (again, RD side brake light won't engage despite clean connectors and new working bulb), and electrical troubleshooting (engine won't supply it's own power after it idles up to warm; Need to manually gas it or it shuts off even while coasting; yes, it is scary). Hopefully all these are linked.
Hope I can help someone as much as I've already been helped out.
