I'm back with a new rig!
Hey y'all (again)!
I finally have another XJ in my possession! It's a 98 base model that was a U.S. Forest Service rig most of its life so far. It's got 144k on the clock and drives like a dream! It's got a few cosmetic issues but I'm sure that they will blend in with the other dents and scratches that I'm sure I will put in it before too long. I have only had it a few days and haven't done anything to it except plugs, wires, rotor cap, and button. It has a factory D35 rear end so I already bought a C8.25 out of another 98 to go in it. Will be ordering a 3" RC lift tomorrow with full leaf packs and some new brake lines. Hope to have it done by next weekend and ready to do some wheeling!
(I tried to attach some pictures but for some reason it won't let me do it from my iPad... Maybe someone knows how to fix that so I can post some?)

Thanks guys! Got the lift done and went to AOP last Saturday to watch some rock racing and do a little shakedown run. I need to replace the drivers side u-joint to n the axle as it is squeaking something terrible! Other than that and wanting some 34x10.50 TSL's I thinks she is good for now! If you are in the Chattanooga area, and want to do some wheeling, let me know!

So, I went ahead and ordered some TMI weld-on beadlocks and a set of 35x12.50 MTR Kevlars from Brian at B. Lee's Offroad here in Chattanooga. They should be in early next week and he is going to set me up with those. Additionally, we are doing all new bump stops so I don't destroy the 35's with the fenders, we are going to weld the 8.25 and also do Brian's .250 wall DOM steering. I'm pretty excited about all of this stuff and can't wait to get out and wheel at the end of this month!
