I finally got a jeep!!
So im Dan from chicago. I finally picked up a 92 cherokee laredo for 600 bucks after searching craigslist for months. It has 230,000 miles. Good buy? The interior is in decent shape. one rear window doesnt roll down. Rockers are pretty rusted, shocks are saggy, needs rotors, leaking tranny fluid and coolant. 4x4 works and the engine still has great power. i cant wait to fix this thing!!

I'd get that spring perch in pic #8 fixed ASAP, then fix the floors with sheetmetal. You need heavier metal for the rockers. Doesn't look too bad though.

I'm totally new to Jeep. I just traded my 1998 white/chrome gmc sierra 4wd truck for my neighbor's red '99 Cherokee sport. I was sold when I rode with him thru his 36 acre woods. The manuverability was outstanding and where we went around trees in places my truck WOULD NEVER GO had me wide eyed and gripping the dash for more. As soon as I get pics I will post them. The red color is now light olive green (flat) with flat black flares and bumpers. I even hand painted back the emblems and decals in flat black also.--I'd like to share the enthusiasm!
