I dream of my first Jeep..
Hi everyone. I'm Phil. I'm 27 years old, Irish and I do not own a Jeep, yet.
I've loved this car since I first saw one in 1992 in a movie, I forget which one, maybe Father of the Bride, but I've loved them ever since.
Here's the sad part, I've never owned, driven or even been in one..

But please God all that's about to change! I am thinking very seriously of buying my first one, and if things go right, I could own it next month!!!
I can hardly contain my excitement.
Anyways, I'm gonna be asking you guys a million questions in the next few weeks to help me make the right choices.
So please please please help me!!!
Thanks and hello from an Irish nut,
Phil!!!

Welcome to CF from Buck in western Washington state. Post some pics as soon as you get your XJ.
Going to see a Jeep this Friday(hopefully).
It sounds too good to be true. It's the size, style and price I want but I am waiting to find something wrong(IrishPessimism). Plus its in my town so I don't even have to travel. Is this too good to be true?
I'll let you guys know..

Great to hear!
There will always be something that needs fixing, but at least it CAN be fixed on these XJs and most have already tackled it before, so there is loads of help.
Good luck in your search.
