Default Howdy from Aggieland

Howdy fellas (and ladies). With a lot of pride, I bought our first Jeep. With its main purpose being for hauling the family (wife and 5 month old SON), I decided on an XJ over the wrangler. I've had it for a couple weeks and haven't done much: re-did headliner, replaced burnt out rear speakers, yadda yadda... however, today I put in copper spark plugs and 4-hole injectors. An issue has arisen that I'll address in the technical.

Howdy Ag!

Welcome to the forum and the Cherokee family.

I'm in KC now, but I am an Aggie ('93). I'm sure you and your family will really enjoy your XJ, and you will have a blast working on it.

Gig em!

Greg

Appreciate guys! First impression: it is very reductionistic. All you need is a screw driver (flat head or philips, take your pick) and you can fix everything on it.

Haha. There are some adventures that will cause your tool chest to expand. All in all though they are extremely easy to work on piece by piece. I have done almost everything you can do to them over the years (engine swaps, gears, wiring, etc.) using YouTube or just figuring it out. The forum helps a bunch when you get stuck of course.

Wow, really?! I've only seen a white Comanche around here. Mine is maroon. I mentioned in the technical discussion about slow start up. I'm still checking that out. It's surprising how much the quality of operation of your vehicle can affect your mood
