Hi from Ohio
Hi. I'm from ohio and just picked up 2 Cherokees on the cheap. I'm looking to build 1 of them for either tough truck or trail wheeling here locally. Im not new to either style however I am new to cherokees. They are a 95 and a 00. I joined to gain info on them. I was wondering if 1 year was better than the other? Both are fairly clean/rust free. Here are some pics.

Welcome
After owning and Wheeling 4 different xjs I'd go with the 2000.
The 00 will have the 0331 cast head which is more prone to cracking...but if you maintain it and watch engine temps it will be just fine.
The newer style interior is much more comfortable to be in..as long as the 00 doesn't have abs it has a 29 spline 8.25 rear axle where the 95 will have either the 27 spline 8.25 or a d35 (dependent upon having abs or not).
