Default Hi from Joe Dirt

Hi everyone. Obviously I'm new to the forum. I've been on Wrangler Forum for years and I'm going to build a Cherokee for my son, who is deployed overseas with the Army for the next year. I hope some of you folks on Cherokee Forum can give me some great ideas, so he can have his dream Jeep when he gets back.

Thanks for the welcome Ol Blue. Figures you'd be from TN. I was stationed at Ft Campbell many years ago as a young man and found people from TN to be the nicest people I've every met. If my family wasn't all back in CA I think I would have stayed there.

Yeah Tenn.'s great, as are the people on this forum, and so is your son for giving his time to serve his Country. And you're a great dad for doing this for him. I have the utmost respect for you, and gratitude for your son sir.

Thank you both, Dan

I'm still trying to learn more about Cherokees while saving up more money before the build starts. He's picked out some tires and wheels and the rest is still up for grabs. I'm going to post more about it in the Cherokee talk section.

32"-33" Tires. I'm thinking about 4" of lift.
