I didn't initiate anything, I was called out and made a response, he chose to make it personal so I continued. I am aware that not all sites are created the same, however I see no reason the Jigsaw joke should be viewed this way. It was a joke, live with it. Adding a profanity filter would be an excellent idea, for the family based site, those over 18-21 whatever can turn it off if they choose.

Ok I am going to lay this out in black and white. We have rules, we expect members to abide by them. I am not going to hold anyones hand adn put in devices to do as such. I should not have to put in filters for adults and hold your hand because you will not abide by the rules or you choose not to read the rules. Remember when you come to this site or any other site you are in someone elses house and in order to post you agreed to abide by those rules. If you don't want to abide by the rules leave.

I am done with this. I am getting really tired of members complaining they have to abide by the rules and we won't filter out langauge. You are adults learn to act like one or go elsewhere.

I am not going to get into a politcal argument/discussion on here. I posted what I did from a non-political stand point. Politics does not have a place on this site and there are venues where one can discuss such topic.

I said liberal, and it was obvious I was using it referring to the political views, not the definition for those who have issues with comprehension.
Liberalism, is basically "Lets make sure everyone is comfortable, no matter what, we can't rub anyone the wrong way" You sited it yourself,
"What one considers ok for their 8 yr old another won't always be the same"

Your right, lets not rub anyone the wrong way, but how does adding a profanity filter cause issues and why would an 8 year old be on a jeep website in the first place, especially since the site requires you to be atleast 13 unless they are in conjunction with a parent/guardian, in which case, its the parents responsibility to monitor their child.

Might help you understand better the word liberal in the manner I used it.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

On a side note, I joined this site to promote 4x4 meets locally, and there has been a lot of interest. You want to make a personal attack on me with hopes that others join in? That only proves your immaturity and continues to prove my point.

I don't come on the forums to argue, I came on here to talk XJ's, meet a few folks locally, and maybe have a little fun. Im not sure how making a 2nd account is against any rules after reading the terms of service. Infact the issue isn't touched. Without me admitting to anything, how do you know my brother/roomate/friend hadn't created the account so he could be a member of this site? How do you know that the information provided wasn't true? How do you know my brother/roomate/friend doesn't have a 1974 FSJ Cherokee with a 401/T18/D20/D44's/31's?

Realistically, you assumed, and assumptions are for ********.

1) I did read the rules, and as stated, I broke none of your written rules.

2) I didn't use profanity, because I know it is not encouraged here, I merely stated a profanity filter would be a good addition to the site.

3) If your done with this, thats fine, I will drop it also, but each time you say your done, you make a post against me, so if you want to end this, just say that without the negative statements attached that beg a response from me.

Hmmm, let's see, this site is maintained and operated by a private individual or group of individuals. In order to use this site you must sign up (join), and agree to abide by the rules of the owners. Seems to me that means your "right" to freedom of speech is "checked at the door" so to speek. I have not seen any evidence yet that the federal government has any say about goes on in this forum. Simply put, the owners do the pay'n they do the say'n, otherwise the exit is easy to find.

By the way, thanks for a family friendly forum!!

Yes it has and it's ending as of today. It's time to crack down on childish crap from adults. So I'll simply begin handing out bans. I am done warning folks and having folks argue with me. Either you follow the rules or you leave that's final.

Wow, this is a lot of drama for a site where the primary users are male.
