Hi all. I'm a new xj owner here in CO. Managed to pick one up with "only" 117k miles on the clock. It was all original. I've already done some work on it to fix the usual oil leaks and replace the original stock suspension which was shot.

This forum has been invaluable just for that little bit of work so I thought I would join and hopefully share some useful info. I also have a JK and participate on another forum for that.

Here is a pic as purchased. Not my favorite color but I didn't really buy it for that... Hope to get a build thread going soon.

Where you at in CO?

 

A little north of Denver. Just west of Hwy 85 in Thornton. I used to make it up to Evans on occasion for work (saw Eaton, CO on your user info). I'm not that far south all things considering. Looked at your profile. 33's on 3.5 is right around where I think I wanted to go with this thing.

I haven't been here for that long. I need to fix a few things on the XJ but looking forward to checking out some of the trails around here this summer. I'm happy with 3.5" on 33s no plans on goin any higher.
