Hi all, New From Nor-Cal
Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Matt I,m from northern California ( The central valley actually ).
I just bought my first jeep and so far I am loving it. It is my first 4x4 and it rocks lol. It's a 1991 4 door Limited XJ, I chose the 4 door because my wife and I have a 11 month old daughter and it's easier.
I am fairly new to wheeling, My parent both owned wranglers for a few years and my uncle has had pretty much every 4x4 known to man but I myself am a noob.
I have learned a great deal already just browsing through the forums and have seen many awesome cherokee's.
I look forward to interacting more on the forums and getting to know all of you. Hopefully I will pick up more tips and tricks then my mind can handle lol.
I have been wrenching since I was 12 and have an extensive History working on muscle cars, imports, and drift cars ( my specialty) So hopefully I will be able to help a few others on here also.
Thanks for giving me a great resource to learn from and I hope to make friends with all of you on the forums.
Have a good night,
Matt

wow, Thanks for all the replies and welcomes fella's. Honestly I have joined a ton of forums over my short life span and this is the most welcomes I have ever recieved lol.
Nice to know there are alot of fellow cherokee lovers near me and we all will definently have to plan some trips and adventures in the near future.
Right now My cherokee is basically bone stock and pretty worn out so the first thing I am gonna do is check over ALL of the suspension parts ( First thing I do on ANY used vehicle) to make sure it's safe for me and my family.
Then As soon as money permits ( probably next month or so ) I am looking at getting a black diamond 3 inch lift kit with the tera-flex budget lift ( coil spacer and leaf shackle to hopefully be sitting around 4 1/2" taller) does that combo sound like it would work?
I don't know much about black diamond but I like the fact that it is a full leafpack replacememnt compared to just a block or add-a-leaf.
Once again, Thank you all for the warm welcomes and i'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
