hey folks, just dropping a line to introduce myself. i've been reading up on this forum for a while and hopefully will be getting an xj this week. going to check out a 98 on monday if its still around when i get off work. a couple things concern me though. heres his description:

1998 jeep Cherokee xj
New pcm pretty new pads and rotors less than 1000 miles
Could use oil change and radiator flush
Some body rust
Windshield leaks a bit in the top passenger corner when it rains hard
Also has full size spare
Fairly clean interior
Has around 150000 miles on odo it didn't read for a short time due to issue with pcm but it reads fine now
Looking to sell to buy a truck

Now, what im worried about is the new pcm and the body rust. how common is the pcm issue? and i know rust can be a killer on these things. i found a thread about that. anything specific i should be looking for? besides floor pans and rockers? thanks alreeady. and if this need to go in another thread, just tell me and ill start one in the right spot.
