wanting to convert it to 4x4 SOON and am looking for 1 main question. i was told the trans tailpiece unbolted and a TC bolts right up. i looked at the tailpiece and this seems like it could work but not sure. i believe its an aw4 trans but dont know for sure. people tell me to sell it and buy a new 4x4 one BUT it was my dads and is in GREAT condition and only 75k miles on the trans. runs like a dream, has been taken care of/ maintained to the max and doubt i will be able to find a 4x4 of the same value. plus it has sentimental value to me. so if tranny swap is neede ill do that.

but anyways its an amazing sit and ive already fixed a few things from how to threads on here, Thanks!

The tailshaft is different (longer) on the 2WD trans. You'll need to get a 4WD trans. if converting to 4WD.
