So I am relatively new to Jeeps or owning one for myself. I got interested when my son wanted one for his first vehicle a few years back. We took it camping with my son in law (he has a Rubicon) when he first got it. We wheeled a few trails and I was hooked. But my son plans on going to collage so I just had to get one of my own. Here is a couple of Photos.

Yah, I am lining up the trails I want to do this year. I can't wait. Until I change a few things like the rear axle and lower gearing I will probably stick to 5 or less in difficulty just to be safe about things.

I live in Englewood about a 40 minute drive to some of the closer trails. We can jump right onto Highway 285 and be at the foothills in 20 minutes. I can't wait to go up and play.

I have lived here all my life. When I was younger I would go to the mountains to get away. Then got too busy to enjoy our own back yard. Then about four summers ago we took a few camping trips and my son was hooked. He wanted an XJ??? For his first vehicle and we had agreed on getting and maintaning a second hand vehicle (for all of our kids) as long as thier grades where on the fast track to go too college

Once he got his XJ, we have had so much fun working on it together and getting up into the back country on some of the coolest trail systems I never knew exsisted. Every trip is an adventure and I plan on making this summer count since my son will ne going to CSU next spring.

 

Yeah, time flies. You wake up one day and while you know know where the time went, you wonder how it passed so quickly!
