Forgot to post here when I joined in Sept. First time XJ owner. Picked up a 2000 Freedom (not sure exactly what makes it a Freedom). Thought I researched everything before buying but somehow missed the head problems with this year. Had mine a little over a month and the head cracked. It's in the shop now getting a new head and hope to have it back on Monday. My plan is to keep it mostly stock. Already replaced the lift gate struts, had the vinyl and foam on driver's seat replaced, changed to the 784 injectors and put on some Cooper ST Maxx tires. I might add a small lift later. It's mostly for hunting and I've already taken it everywhere I need to go without any problems, so we'll see. Anyhow, just wanted to check in and say thanks for everything I've already learned here.
