Hey All
New to the sight. Bought my first Jeep and am stoked to make it a project for me and my son. 1991 Laredo. Stock now, but thinking I want approx. 4.5" lift and some good meats to start things off. Live in Colorado and going to go up to State Forest National Park in two weeks to test this Jeep out in some of the coolest places in Colorado's High Country. Look forward to getting to know those of you here.

Is the Cherokee originally from Colorado? I ask because there was a high altitude throttle body sensor that will improve the idle and power at higher altitudes. BTW

I have many receipts on this Jeep for work completed. I am only the third owner best I can tell. The oldest receipt I have is from 10-20-92 from a dealer in Ft. Collins, CO for paint sealant and undercoat protection. It looks like the owner had just moved to colorado from Honolulu as the address on the receipt is a Hawaii address. It had less than 20,000 miles on it at that time. All of the receipts are from Colorado but how can I tell where the car was purchased? Does the VIN tell me?
The Jeep is in great shape except I need to replace the exhaust manifold at some point and the rubber door aand window moldings as the are not air tight and the other usual stuff for an older vehicle.
How can I tell if it has the High Altitude package?
